What do we need from you in order to send you a quote?


Firstly, this would very much depend on what you would like a quote on.  We have pretty standard specifications for certain items (but it can be changed of course).

Business cards and folders are printed on 300gsm paper. Pamphlets are printed on 115gsm (usually with a gloss finish). If it is not a high end pamphlet, then it is printed on 80gsm. Book covers are printed on 200 – 300 gsm. The type of paper used depends on the number of pages in the book as well as the target market of the book.


Some item sizes are pretty standard, like business cards are usually 90×50 mm.  Pamphlets, books and such however, can be A5 or A4 or any other size.


Please provide the following information when asking for a quote:

  • What we must quote on (business card, pamphlet, book, etc.)
  • Size
  • Quantity
  • Printed full color or one color (black)
  • Printed on one side or both sides
  • Specify paper should you have a preference
  • Your contact details – email and phone number
If you need a quote on a book, please provide the following information:

  • Size of the book – in mm, not inches please! Here is a link to a measurements converter.
  • Number of copies you need. (If you need a proof copy, please specify)
  • Title of the book – this will help us to know what paper to use in our quote.
  • Number of pages (pp) in the book – here is an explanation of the difference between a page and a sheet.
  • Binding method – if you don’t know, we will advise you.
  • Would you like a gloss or a matt laminate on the cover of the book – if you are unsure, you can send us an image of the cover design and we would be able to recommend what would look best.
